Pre-Fair Contest Deadline Approaching Fast!

More fun Fair news from Jane in our Special Events department! You probably know that there are a lot of great contests every day of the Fair that the young and young at heart can enter, but did you know there are pre-Fair contests too?
What’s even COOLER is that anyone who enters at least one contest gets one FREE single-day General Admission pass. That’s right – a free day at the Fair just for entering one of our awesome pre-Fair contests! The deadline is June 30th, so you better get crackin’!
Fair Fun Books filled with pre-Fair contests have been distributed to local schools and you can also find them in our offices (1350 Bennett Valley Rd) and at your local libraries. You can even download contest entry forms from our website here.

Contests For All Ages
My Fair Memories: Write about your favorite memories of the Sonoma County Fair and win cash and Fair tickets!
Coloring Contest: Get out your felt pens or crayons and color this year’s Fair poster! This contest is for adults and kids. You can win tickets and t-shirts.
Picture Caption Contest: Write a funny caption for an old Sonoma County Fair photo and you might win a pie and a Family Fair Package that includes Fair admission, parking & carnival rides!
HAPPY Birthday TO the Fair! Make a birthday card for the Fair’s 75th birthday and win a Family Fair Package.
Contests Just for Kids
Fair Fun on a Budget: Figure out the best way to spend $25 at the Fair and you could win the cash and free Fair tickets.
Design A Sticker: Design a sticker with the Fair theme and win $100! The winning stickers will be printed by Santa Rosa Label Co.
Read & Win! Read extra books for fun and you can win a ride on two of your favorite carnival rides.
So there you have it! Strap on your thinking caps and tap into your creative genius ~ you’ll definitely get a free Fair pass but you might win some other great prizes too!
