Enjoy the Festivities of “Holidays In Bloom”

August 2 Preview Party showcases the Hall of Flowers; proceeds benefit scholarship fund

Since 1952, every year professional landscapers, landscape designers, amateur gardeners and young floral enthusiasts work diligently to kick off the Sonoma County Fair delightfully. It takes almost four months to transform one of the Fair’s biggest attractions into a floral enchantment as the designers adhere to the 2017 Show theme – “Holidays in Bloom”. Walk through the Mexican cemetery of pastel monuments and colorful décor of Dia de los Muertos as you make your way for the livelier exhibits of Mardi Gras and Cinco de Mayo. Next you’ll be in the New Year’s Garden and stroll through the amazing floral interpretations of Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Thanksgiving and more.

Get a sneak peek at the Hall of Flowers before the Fair opens. On Wednesday, August 2 (beginning at 5:30 PM) enjoy an after work social with appetizers and wine as you stroll through exhibits during the Hall of Flowers Preview Party. Don’t forget to capture a snapshot of all the festivity!

This gathering also serves as a wonderful social and networking opportunity, with ticket sales benefiting the Hall of Flowers Scholarship Fund. Each year the Sonoma County Fair supports the local agricultural industry by awarding scholarships to high school students who are committed to pursuing agricultural studies. This year, over $10,000 was awarded to students pursuing the studies in Agriculture.
